Pragtige orreluitvoering Rustenburg
Rustenburg: Riaan Vorster het op Sondagaand 27 Oktober 2014 `n pragtige orreluitvoering in Rustenburg gelewer. Die Orrelfees is aangebied in die NH KERK, Rustenburg. Riaan het daarin geslaag om die nuwe drie manuaal Content orrel deeglik tot sy reg te laat kom.
Hy het `n baie mooi program aangebied wat aan die gehoor se verwagtings voldoen het. Die program het begin met werke van JS Bach en GF Handel,ondermeer die bekende Toccata in d mineur van JS Bach gevolg deur die Hallelujakoor uit Die Messias van Handel. Daarna het hy `n aantal van sy eie improvisasies gespeel op bekende kerkmelodieë soos Op berge en in dale en Soos `n wildsbok.
Die Trompet Fanfare het bestaan uit `n aantal bekende werke soos die Trumpet Voluntaries van Clarke en Stanley. Daarna het hy mooi vertolkings gelewer van Meditation van Massenet en die Groot Mars uit Aida van Verdi.
Die laaste afdeling het bestaan uit heel moderne verwerkings vir orrel wat Riaan self gedoen het. Hierdie populêre werke het groot byval gevind by oud en jonk en is met groot applous ontvang. Dit sluit werke in van Morricone, uit The Mission, Starwars van J Williams, en temas uit Pirates of the Caribbean en Phantom of the Opera, laasgenoemde van A Lloyd Webber.
Die konsert is afgsluit met die bekende Fanfare van J Lemmens. Riaan Vorster het `n baie mooi gebalanseerde program aangebied wat aan almal se smaak voldoen het en hy het ook daarin geslaag om al die klankmoontlikhede van die orrel ten toon te stel. Hy beskik oor `n deeglike tegniek en lewer deurgaans musikale vertolkings uit die boonste rakke!
Die aand is afgerond met die baie mooi sang van die Juniorkoor van die Laerskool Protea Park onderleiding van Magriet Engelbrecht, begelei deur Elisma Buitendag en ook die Juniorkoor van Laerskool Vastrap, onderleiding van Marisa van Wyk en begelei deur Louis Bezuidenhout. Ds Johan van Wyk, leraar van die gemeente het die gehoor ook laat deelneem aan die Orrelfees met samesang van verskeie liedere uit die Liedboek, meesterlik begelei deur Riaan Vorster.

8 may 2011 - Dear Content team ,For nearly 23 years I have been lucky owner of a "Content" organ (Model K500 no 65469)
During these 23 years I have never had problems with the organ ,although I have already been moving 4 times.

Op aanbeveling van verskeie kundiges het ons die Content vertoonkamers in jhb. besoek en was ons baie beindruk met die orrels ,die diens, en unieke klank en die pryse.
Na ons ondersoek met ander orrels het ons na die demonstrasie in ons kerk besluit op die Content Orrel.
